We support Food for the Poor Nepal

This remarkable project provides the poorest people in Kathmandu, Nepal, with freshly prepared, nutritious meals.

Providing someone in need with a hot meal costs just €1.50 per day – including preparation, packaging and distribution.

The impact is priceless. For people living in extreme poverty on the streets, it means not only nourishment and survival, but also hope, recognition and support.

🧡 Meals are distributed every day in a different location in Kathmandu by local staff on motorcycles, reaching as many people as possible – seven days a week.

Help in Action is a volunteer-run non-profit organisation founded in 1992 by T.Y.S. Lama Gangchen, who lived in the West for many years and worked tirelessly to promote a positive mutual exchange of knowledge, knowhow and humanitarian assistance between East and West.

Help in Action supports people in the Himalayan region, particularly in India and Nepal, through humanitarian projects for children, the elderly, sick, disabled and monks. It also provides immediate assistance in the event of emergencies such as natural disasters.
