Design
The design is inspired by traditional Indian and Indo-Islamic architecture. “Taj” means crown and refers to characteristic forms commonly found in palaces and courtyards. The openwork pattern is based on jaali screens: decorative lattice structures that allow light and airflow while providing shelter.
