Dreamcatcher with amazonite
The dreamcatcher is a traditional symbol from the Native American cultures, especially the Ojibwe tribe. It is used to catch good dreams and keep negative energy or nightmares away. The dream catcher usually consists of a circle representing the continuity of life, with a web of threads inside. This web ‘catches’ the bad dreams so that they dissolve at sunrise. The feathers gently ‘sweep’ the good dreams towards you while sleeping.
