Qualities of Palo Santo (Holy Wood or Sacred Wood)
The indigenous people of the Andes have, for centuries, been using Palo Santo to ward off negative energy. When this Holy wood is burned, negative energy is purified, peace and harmony is restored and the connection with Mother Earth is empowered. According to tradition, Palo Santo has a natural pain relieving, stress relieving and relaxing effect. Palo Santo has a pleasant refreshing and uplifting scent. The aroma of Palo Santo can help to clarify the aura and/or promote positive feelings and joy. 

Produces a warm, aromatic, woody fragrance. Was used by the ancient Aztecs as Copalcoahuiti. For the Indians from Peru it is known as the "Sacred Wood". It is used in magical and religious rituals. Evil spirits abhor its scent and are dispeled by it. Cleanses the air, creates peace and harmony, offers an optimal basic attitude. Excellent incense to use when irritated and strained.

Intended for burning on charcoal or a special sieve incense burner. Also available: a brush to clean the sieve, tongs for handling the charcoal and sieve, and a wild turkey feather for spreading the incense aroma. There is a special sieve of 125 mms that fits an essential aroma burner, if you remove the cup.
