Cloudy glass – cause and solution
Cloudy or hazy glass is usually caused by limescale deposits.
Main causes of cloudy glass:
– Washing wooden items in the same cycle as glassware
– Hard water
– Incorrect dosage of rinse aid or low salt levels
Limescale is best removed using warm water and a tablespoon of citric acid or vinegar. Fill the affected glass with the warm water and citric acid/vinegar mix and let it sit for 12 hours. Dry and polish thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
