Singing bowl with handle Nada Yoga

A handheld variant of the Nada Yoga singing bowl, skilfully crafted from a bronze alloy containing trace amounts of 8 noble metals (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn). Suitable for therapeutic work, one-on-one sessions, and other situations where it is practical to move around the room while playing.

Singing bowls with handle
Singing bowls with handle are specifically designed for therapeutic use. They make it possible to work easily and effectively around the body. Always maintain sufficient distance, as sound has a strong impact on the subtle (energetic) body. Apply treatment in moderation and, especially at the beginning, do not work for too long. As a therapist, it is all too easy to forget that you yourself are also undergoing a singing bowl treatment.

Hammered singing bowls
Beaten or hammered singing bowls are made entirely by hand. Each bowl is carefully shaped, requiring multiple steps to achieve the desired result.

During production, raw materials such as copper and tin are melted in a furnace. The molten metal is poured into moulds to create base forms for different weights and sizes. These are then cut into metal discs of the required thickness.

For the hammering process, four to five of these metal discs are stacked, heated until red hot, and worked by experienced artisans while the metal remains soft and malleable. This process of heating and hammering is repeated until the desired shape and size are achieved. As a result, each hammered singing bowl differs slightly in diameter and proportions.

Working the bowl can only be done while the metal is hot; when it cools, it loses flexibility and becomes brittle, with a risk of cracking. After the basic shape has been formed, further heating and finishing follow to refine the proportions. Finally, the singing bowls are engraved and polished on both the inside and outside for the finishing touch.
