Description

 

Pure natural resin incense for burning in a refractory dish with charcoal or on a special sieve burner. Can be used for various purification rituals.
Note: This resin may naturally vary in colour, odour and substance.

Labdanum (Cistus ladaniferus)
Originates from the Cisroses bush on Crete; an incense resin that is being used since time immemorial. The bible describes how it is mixed with myrrh. Gives off a sensual amberish scent, that activates sensual perception and clears disturbances. Can be well used in purifying rituals, to clear a (living) space or a person's aura. Also an excellent incense for shamanic rituals or wicca.

How to use
Suitable for burning on a fireproof dish with charcoal, or on a special sieve incense burner. The burning process on a sieve burner is slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties.

Also available are matching tongs to safely light the charcoal, tongs to handle the incense strainer, a steel brush to clean the incense strainer and a wooden feather for scent dispersion. A loose sieve of 125 mm fits also on an oil evaporator, if you remove the cup.
