Styrax (Styrax calamitus)
This is an Amber shrub, of which the resin has been used for ages as incense. In ancient times, the resin was often offered to Goddess Hekate. Mixed with Syrian Rue (Peganum harmala) and Bay leaves it is suitable for oracle rituals. Very relaxing and releasing in cases of emotional convulsions, especially based on agression.*

How to use
Suitable for burning on a fireproof dish with charcoal, or on a special sieve incense burner. The burning process on a sieve burner is slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties.

Also available are matching tongs to safely light the charcoal, tongs to handle the incense strainer, a steel brush to clean the incense strainer and a wooden feather for scent dispersion. A loose sieve of 125 mm fits also on an oil evaporator, if you remove the cup.
