Laser-engraved singing bowl Shiva

Handmade singing bowl made of bronze alloy, with a laser-engraved image of Shiva seated in padmāsana on the inside, surrounded by six lotus medallions bearing the Om symbol on the rim. The underside showcases a square mandala with torana gateways, a central Buddha-eyes motif and chakra seed-syllable lotuses, based on the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The side panels feature additional lotus medallions inscribed with seed syllables and stylised cloud patterns.

Shiva – Cosmic Awareness
The engraving merges Shaivite iconography—crescent moon, third eye, snake adornments and tiger-skin garment—with six Om-inscribed lotuses, symbolising cyclical time, inner vision and protective wisdom. Shiva’s meditative posture invites practices centred on transformation, consciousness and renewal.

The mandala beneath reflects the seven-chakra system interwoven with traditional Vajrayāna motifs—Bumpa vase, wish-fulfilling jewels and lotus petals—offering a multilayered focus for sound healing or deep meditation. Use in ritual clearing or any sound-work aimed at clarity, balance and spiritual insight.

Beaten Singing Bowls
Beaten or hand‐hammered singing bowls are made through a complete hand‐hammering process. Each bowl is shaped and formed using traditional techniques, where metal discs are heated, stacked, and hammered by skilled artisans until they take the desired shape. This process is repeated several times to achieve the final form. As a result, each singing bowl is unique, with slight variations in size and shape that reflect the authentic craftsmanship.

The alloy used consists of copper, tin, and a mixture of other metals, carefully combined to produce a rich, resonant tone. After shaping, each bowl is chiseled and polished, resulting in a durable and harmonious instrument suited for both ritual use and sound therapy.
