Elecampane (Inula helenium)
Elecampane - also known as Alant, Alant Root, Snake herb or God's Eye - is an age-old healing herb. Among the Slavonic people, it is known as a repellent and magic herb. The scent is said to ward off modern demons, like stress and depression. Highly relaxing, with a positive effect on the bronchi, digestion and rheumatic symptoms.* In Christian symbolism, this herb is known as the "Redemption by the Light of Christ".
Element: Water
Main effect on: Mind
How to use
Suitable for burning on a fireproof dish with charcoal, or on a special incense burner sieve. The burning process on a sieve burner is slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties.
Also available are matching tongs to safely light the charcoal, tongs to handle the incense strainer, a steel brush to clean the incense strainer and a wooden feather for scent dispersion. A loose sieve of 125 mm fits also on an oil evaporator, if you remove the cup.
