Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens)
Palo Santo ("holy wood"), is a wild tree native to Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the Galapagos islands.
Gives off a warm, aromatic, woody scent. Was already used by the Aztecs and Peruvian Indians for magical and religious rituals. Evil spirits are said to be disgusted by the scent and are thus warded off by burning Palo Santo.

Clears the air, creates a calm and harmonious atmosphere, provides a basic groundedness. Excellent incense to pacify anoyance and exertation.*

Element: Fire
Main effect on: Body.

How to use
Suitable for burning on a fireproof dish with charcoal, or on a special sieve incense burner. The burning process on a sieve burner is slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties.

Also available are matching tongs to safely light the charcoal, tongs to handle the incense strainer, a steel brush to clean the incense strainer and a wooden feather for scent dispersion. A loose sieve of 125 mm fits also on an oil evaporator, if you remove the cup.
