Vetiver root - khus, kuskus (Vertiveria zizianoides)
this type of grass from tropical Asia is since time immemorial favoured for its fine scent. "The scent of the re-newing earth". Works as a "spiritual incense" and is detoxifying according to the Ayurvedic tradition. Focusses a sense of reality, helps grounding, creates structure, can be used as a mild aphrodisiac. Is well mixed with Sandalwood, Opopnax and Benzoe. Promotes body awareness during a meditative incense session.

How to use
Suitable for burning on a fireproof dish with charcoal, or on a special sieve incense burner. The burning process on a sieve burner is slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties.
Also available are matching tongs to safely light the charcoal, tongs to handle the incense strainer, a steel brush to clean the incense strainer and a wooden feather for scent dispersion. A loose sieve of 125 mm fits also on an oil evaporator, if you remove the cup.
